There is plenty of humour on the streets, demonstrated visiting speaker Dave Mason at the Club meeting on 18 October. His talk on ‘Life’ reflected his observation of people juxtaposed with odd signs, passers-by caught in unlikely poses and scenes from within buildings catching what was going on outside.
There was no ‘skulduggery’ with post processing, just careful timing and using a micro four-thirds camera with silent shutter thus rarely drawing attention to the photographer. Dave’s artistry included a good eye for colour echoes in different parts of the frame and a neat use of reflections.
