Two rather different journeys captivated members last Friday.
First, club member Paul Robinson documented his early career in the merchant navy with photographs taken on his first trips on cargo ships. As well as some stomach churning images of huge waves there was plenty of background information about life afloat.
Second, Andrée Freeman, another club member, spoke about her realisation of her interest in photography and how her work has developed. She places particular emphasis on colour but yearns to produce a classic minimalist image.
