On Friday 29 January around forty Ilkley Camera Club members gathered online for the annual Open Colour competition. 52 images were presented including still life, nature, landscape and documentary.
The judge was Colin Williams who is local to Ilkley and gave some helpful feedback on all the images. His valuable comments helped support an important goal for Ilkley Camera Club, to learn from one another and improve skills. The judge said that the standard had been very high this year which made his task difficult.
Congratulations went to the top prize winners this year who were Nick Hodgson for Sunset at the Causeway in first place; Petals by Jayne Sanderson in second place and Peter Wilson in third place with Autumn Umbrella
Highly commended were White Flowers by Sharon Sawyer; The Blue Tree by Tim Sawyer; and Crested Gecko by Larry James.
