On one of the hottest days of the year so far it was a delight to be begin the day outside in the wonderful surroundings of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Club members were treated to dramatic works by Damien Hirst, teasing objects created by Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos, and much more. By lunch time members were beginning to droop a little in the heat but, after refreshment, a stroll round some of the indoor events, with air conditioning, seemed like a good idea.
One of the challenges was to bring out the emotion of the subjects and suggest how visitors related to them. Here are some of the photos taken. Click on an image for a full size slideshow.
