The meeting on 19 January provides members with an opportunity to test their ability to assess photographs and give a critique. It is part 1 of a special Inter-Club Assessment arranged with Morton Photographic Society near Carlisle.
Morton members have sent through a selection of their photographs and Ilkley Camera Club members will be viewing them then commenting and awarding scores. Morton will be doing the same for a selection of Ilkley members’ photos.
In March the clubs will swap notes and images and see how similar their assessments are. It is all part of improving the ability to assess images and explain views in a clear and well-reasoned way.
Visitors are very welcome. Meetings run from 7.30pm to about 9.30pm at St Peter’s Church Hall, Church Street, Addingham, LS29 0QS.
