We are delighted to offer members plus their family and friends an outing to John and Julia Horner’s Farm near Buckden. It’s a chance to explore the fields, woods, deer park and moor, meet the sheep, cows, chickens and dogs, enjoy the flowers and capture the views at the top end of Wharfedale.
Julia is kindly offering a sandwich and cake lunch and drink so we plan morning and afternoon explorations from the farm house. Bring suitable warm clothing and rain protection including boots or wellies. Some of the land is steep and a walking pole/stick may be useful. Wider angle lenses would be good for views and longer lenses for close-ups of the livestock.
You need to book for this event as we may re-schedule it to 23 or 24 May if the weather forecast is unsuitable. Booking details were in a recent members’ circular.
