The first part of the Inter-Club Assessment got underway on 19 January with members viewing and assessing images from Morton Photographic Society near Carlisle. Members split into small groups so that everyone could have a say in the comments and scoring.
Among the images seen were a beautifully lit head of garlic, snow-capped mountains, a proud hound, and a steam enthusiast. Members had plenty of opportunity to say what they liked about each image and what they would have done differently if they had been behind the camera.
Part two of the event will be on 16 March when members hear the comments made on the images the club sent to Morton.
