Landscapes can be hard to capture but well thought out composition and good lighting can produce superb results. That was the message from Sue and Jon Baker’s presentation last Friday.
They produced broad vistas from Norway and the Alps, and sun rises in Shropshire and Wales. Dramatic weather enhanced the images, even if it meant rather wet photographers.
They also got in close with charming images of natural features and geological formations. Jon urged members to use the light to break up scenes so that different features were clearly delineated and the photograph appeared more three dimensional.
