Look out for unusual juxtapositions and make the most of bad weather were just two of the tips from the new season’s first lecturer, Peter Yeo from Gainsborough.
Illustrating his points with copious printed photos, he took members through scenes from the seaside, neglected graveyards, close-ups of trees and foliage, and shots grabbed out of a train window. With a strong emphasis on monochrome photos and at times using infra-red adapted cameras, he entertained with a diverse and interesting portfolio.
