Ilkley Camera Club showed off a sample of its skills on 4 December following a special invitation from Ilkley Parish Council Chairman, Councillor Steve Butler. The event showcased the activities of arts organisations in Ilkley to around 40 guests including the Lord Mayor of Bradford, the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire and council members.
It was an opportunity for representatives of arts organisations to share ideas and find out about support available from the council. The Club was represented by Peter Farmer, the Club’s President, and Chris Farmer.
Sixteen members had their work on show, with photographs selected from recent award winning images. The members were: Keith Allen, Len Downes, Chris Farmer, Peter Farmer, David James, Larry James, Julia Kay, Geoff Meakin, Marion Payne, Ken Phillip, Phil Reeds, Sharon Sawyer, Tim Sawyer, Richard Spurdens, Laurie Tetley and Peter Wilson.
