Nature, near and far was the theme last Friday when Trevor Davenport ARPS DPAGB visited the Club.
Far off were the US national parks of Yellowstone and Grand Teton where Trevor had captured the outstanding colours of the geyser formations and mountain scenery, enhanced with images of bears, bison and an obliging family of otters.
Near at hand were scenes on Trevor’s doorstep as the flatlands of the Sefton Coast took us to colourful beaches, rare caterpillars and moths, and beautiful dragonflies, captured close up thanks to careful use of a 200mm macro lens.
Trevor’s enthusiasm for natural history and his skilful photography produced a thoroughly entertaining evening.
